Rikard and Pamela
Rikard Ekstrand (SE)
He sees himself as a lifelong student of rhythm, music, communication, and culture. He couldn't be more thankful for what jazz dance has given him, and he will always continue learning as he shares and inspires others to get deeper into communication, the process of jazz, and all the beautiful moments and learning it comes with.
For him, the most important part of teaching is to inspire others and challenge themselves to learn in an unselfih way. He loves providing tools and exercises needed to grow as dancers and humans, because together we are stronger.
“Dancing should bring people together—and if it doesn’t, we’re doing it wrong.”
Pamela Gaizutyte (LT)
Humorous, dynamic, and full of heart with a touch of the anarchic, Pamela was captivated by the energy of Lindy Hop at sixteen when she began classes at Lindyhop.lt Club in Vilnius. Despite her youth, Pamela has illuminated her path by constantly learning anything related to dancing, whether it's music, psychology, or anatomy.
For Pamela, dancing is about more than perfect movement; it’s about self-expression and connecting with the music. Improvisation is where her passion truly shines, as it continually amazes her with its endless possibilities for creativity and freedom. She finds great joy in practicing and refining her own dancing, constantly uncovering new ideas and insights. Pamela eagerly shares these discoveries in her classes, not just as final outcomes, but as part of the creative process, encouraging students to embrace exploration and growth.
